About
Brian De Pinto, owner
Brian has been working with his hands since he was thirteen. He learned the trades alongside his grandfather: marble, carpentry, framing, fiberglass, the kind of work where you develop an eye before you develop speed. He went on to frame and build in South Jersey while studying architecture.
Then he picked up a camera, and spent the next 20 years as a commercial photographer, shooting in 27 countries for brands like Ralph Lauren, Nike and Sephora. That work trains you to see proportion, texture, how light hits a surface, and the difference between something done right and something thrown together. He brought all of it back to the houses he works on.
Today BDP Handyman focuses on the outside of older North Jersey homes: siding, decks, masonry and drainage, the places where a house built in the 1920s or 1930s shows its age first. Brian runs every job himself. He writes the estimate, manages the work, brings in trusted trades where the job needs them, and walks the finished job with you before it's called done.
When you reach out, you're talking to him. When the work is finished, it's his name on it.
BDP Handyman is based in Verona and serves homeowners across Essex and Passaic Counties. Outside of work, Brian is raising his son and still making photographs.
