Recent work on North Jersey homes

From full exterior restorations to single repairs. Every job starts with a written estimate and ends with a walkthrough.

Full exterior restoration, Verona

The homeowners had just bought an older house with years of deferred exterior work: rotted siding, a tired deck, a failing basement entry and loose stone. They wanted one person accountable for all of it.

What we did

  • Siding and trim: opened up the worst sections, replaced rotted clapboard and repaired the trim and sill areas behind it, matched to the existing profile.
  • Deck: removed the old boards and railing, inspected the framing, installed composite decking, fascia and new railings, with under-deck drainage tied into the gutters.
  • Basement entry: replaced the Bilco door and finished the trim and drywall around it.
  • Masonry: repointed the fieldstone wall and stone steps with lime mortar, which flexes with old stone instead of trapping water in it.
  • Window wells, gutters and downspouts, debris removal and a final punch list walkthrough.

How it ran

One written estimate, every change in scope agreed in writing, and the homeowners moved in on schedule while the exterior work finished around them.
